1. Armstrong Farms – Saxonburg, PA
Located just outside of historic Saxonburg, Armstrong Farms can trace its history all the way back to 1816 ! Although the property was initially used as a black Angus cattle farm, today Armstrong Farms also features two beautiful wedding venues in separate rustic barns: Fieldstone, which was originally built in the mid-1800s, and Westminster Preserve, which was built in 1862. Don’t worry—each venue features modern accommodations !

2. Shady Elms Farm – Hickory, PA
You’ll find Shady Elms Farm 25 miles outside of Pittsburgh, just a quick hop off Route 50. There, you’ll find one of Washington County’s prettiest outdoor wedding venues. Featuring stunning green lawns and an on-site lake, Shady Elms Farm is a lovely venue that prides itself on simplifying your wedding planning by being all-inclusive.

3. Bramblewood – McDonald, PA
Although the focal point of any Bramblewood wedding is its wooden arched barn, this McDonald wedding venue offers dazzling lakeside ceremonies ! Between the lush cocktail lawn, rustic decor, and picturesque lake, this is one wedding venue you shouldn’t overlook if you’d like to get married outside.

4. Irons Mill Farmstead – New Wilmington, PA
Irons Mills Farmstead is located about an hour from Downtown Pittsburgh (just north of Westminster College), but this is one outdoor wedding venue you shouldn’t overlook ! Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens are more than a radiant collection of exotic flowers and fragrant gardens. 6. Pinehall At Eisler Farms – Butler, PA
Pinehall offers everything you could want from a Pittsburgh barn wedding venue: luxurious yet rustic design, tree-lined pathways, fields of green, and quick access to the woods for forest photoshoots. Although Seven Springs Mountain Resort is one of the farthest venues on this list, it’s extremely easy to reach: take the turnpike to exit 91, then drive until you reach Seven Springs Mountain Resort. Thanks to the area’s high elevation and the venue’s sky resort, you’ll have picturesque views all year round—but especially during the summer months !

8. Grand Estate At Hidden Acres – Freeport, PA
The Grand Estate At Hidden Acres is truly breathtaking. Featuring a 10,000-square-foot mansion and 13.5 acres of pristine grounds, this is truly an incredible outdoor wedding venue close to Pittsburgh. 14. The Barn At Madison – Madison, PA
Originally built as a dairy barn in 1799, the impressive architecture of the Barn at Madison soon earned it the nickname of the 8th Wonder of the World. Eventually abandoned, the property was renovated nearly 10 years ago, restoring the grounds to their previous glory.
