1. Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens

F.A. Seiberling was the co-founder of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in 1898, and his impact can still be felt in Akron today.  One of his most enduring gifts to the city is his enormous estate featuring a beautiful 65-room Tudor Revival Manor House and a Gothic Revival Conservatory, all of which are situated on 70 acres of manicured grounds and gardens !  So, if you’re looking for a perfectly romantic place to propose in Akron, Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is a great place to visit.

2. Akron Zoo

Step back in time at Hale Farm & Village !  This charming museum sits within Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and it explores 19th century living through 32 historic buildings, craft demonstrations, and farm animals.  This is a great place to have fun, and its picturesque setting and scenic views also make this a romantic spot for a proposal !
