1. Whitehall Columbia

Located 20 miles from Cleveland, Whitehall Columbia is housed inside a charming old schoolhouse from the 1930s.  Whitehall Columbia has been renovated to offer a simple but sleek venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

2. Glidden House

The Glidden House is a stunning mansion that was commissioned by Frank Glidden, the son of the founder of the Glidden Paint Company, back in 1910.  With manicured grounds, a full-service restaurant, and 60 luxurious guest rooms, the Glidden House is the perfect location for an intimate Cleveland wedding.  For your guests traveling from out of town, the property is conveniently located near attractions like the Botanical Gardens and the Cleveland Museum of Art.

3. Hines Hill Campus

Tucked away in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Hines Hill property is set against the park’s towering trees. The campus actually offers three different wedding venues: a spacious house, a barn, and a former chicken coop, which is now called the Stone Cottage.

4. The Union Club of Cleveland

The Union Club of Cleveland was originally founded as a social organization for the city’s industrialists and business professionals, and its early members included U.S. presidents like Ulysses S. Grant and Rutherford B. Hayes.  The impressive stone building’s highlight is an iconic wooden staircase that’s incredibly popular for wedding photos.

5. Cleveland City Hall Rotunda

This historic landmark features polished marble floors, sky-lit ceilings, and opulent neoclassic pillars.  City Hall opened up the Rotunda for social events and weddings back in 2012, and it’s been a popular Cleveland wedding destination ever since.  With rental fees starting at around $1,375, the Rotunda is a relatively affordable Cleveland wedding venue.

6. Bohemian National Hall

Another wedding venue dating back to the 1800s, the Bohemian National Hall is a gorgeous choice for your big day.  Marked with sophisticated details and a one-of-a-kind chandelier, the elegant ballroom is something straight out of a fairytale.

Lake Affect Studios is a unique venue on this list because it’s the only one that boasts a truly industrial setting.  Reflecting the history of the city itself, Lake Affect Studios features exposed brick walls, natural wood floors, and rustic metal pipes and girders.  This is one venue your guests certainly won’t forget !

8. Stan Hwyet Hall and Gardens

Traveling to Stan Hwyet Hall and Gardens means trekking south to Akron.  Once you arrive, you might feel like you’ve also traveled to another time period entirely.  The estate is notable for its 65-room Tudor Revival manor house and Gothic Revival conservatory. No matter what time of year you visit the hall and gardens, you’ll have a picturesque backdrop for every moment of your wedding day.

9. Old Stone Church

The Old Stone Church can trace its history all the way back to 1820. Back then, Cleveland only held a few hundred people !  Although Cleveland has grown significantly since then, Old Stone Church (formally known as the First Presbyterian Church of Cleveland) still retains its original beauty and charm, especially its elegant stained glass window and impressive woodwork.

10. Squire’s Castle

We mentioned Squire’s Castle in our list of best places to propose in Cleveland, but it’s an equally beautiful location for weddings.  Squire’s Castle was supposed to be part of a much larger manor house, but the project was abandoned more than 100 years ago.  Today, however, this beautiful stone building can be your backdrop as you tie the note in Willoughby Hills, 20 miles from Downtown Cleveland.  Bonus: Because Squire’s Castle is maintained by Cleveland Metroparks, it can be reserved for free—making it an extremely affordable Cleveland wedding venue !
