Bridgerton Wedding Music: The Perfect Playlist For Your Day

Wedding Music

Bridgerton was a smash hit on Netflix when it first hit the streaming service back in 2020, but its success is still going strong years later.  In fact, we’re even seeing Bridgerton-themed weddings sweeping through Pittsburgh and other nearby cities.

That leads us to an important question: What songs do you include in your Bridgerton wedding music ?

While you’re filling out your wedding music planning resource sheets, consider our song selections for that special Regency-era splendor !

Top Song Choices For Your Bridgerton-Themed Wedding

One of the most interesting choices in Bridgerton is the decision to reimagine modern Pop hits with Regency-era instruments—much like our PopRock Electric Violin and Extreme Strings concepts.

Sky Full Of Stars

Liven up your wedding day with a Coldplay standout track reimagined by our Extreme Strings Quartet, and inject an extra layer of elegance into your entire Bridgerton wedding music experience.

Don’t Stop Believin’

Journey first released “Don’t Stop Believin’” in 1981 as part of the Escape album, but it has become a wedding mainstay for its universal story of two people looking for love and connection. When the song’s performed by our Extreme Strings Quartet, it fits perfectly into any wedding—but especially for one pulling inspiration from the Netflix hit.

We Found Love

Reimagine the Rihanna and Calvin Harris electro house hit with our Extreme Strings Quartet !  Your guests will recognize the tune, but it’ll have the elegance and sophistication of a timeless classic.

Over the Rainbow

We captured the full sentimentality of this popular wedding tune with our Heartstrings Quartet at the Bedford Springs Resort, and you can capture the same experience by booking us for your wedding day.

My Heart Will Go On

Celine Dion performed “My Heart Will Go On” in 1997 for The Titanic, a film that takes place in 1912—100 years after the Regency era.  But when the song is performed by our Crystal Strings Quintet, it transforms into a timeless tune that fits inside any wedding (but especially inside a Bridgerton theme).

Additional Song Choices For Your Bridgerton-Era Wedding

If you love the costumes and set designs from the show inspired by the early 1800s, check out these songs.  They don’t necessarily appear in the Bridgerton soundtrack, but they are from the same era—perfect if you want to capture an authentic Regency vibe.

Bridal Chorus (Here Comes the Bride)

Better known as “Here Comes the Bride,” “Bridal Chorus” traces its roots back to an opera composed in 1850 by German composer Richard Wagner.  We often recommend performing “Bridal Chorus” as a duo, trio, or quartet, so check out our string ensemble options to see which could be best for your wedding day.

Ode to Joy

Originally performed in 1824 as part of the fourth and final movement in Beethoven’s ninth symphony, “Ode to Joy” is a timeless classic and surefire people-pleaser that will fit perfectly into your Bridgerton-themed wedding.

Amazing Grace

“Amazing Grace” was first published in 1779 by English Anglican clergyman and poet John Newton, meaning it would have been a few decades old by the time the events of Bridgerton take place.  Still, its sweet sentiment and universal appreciation make this a perfect instrumental selection for your wedding day.

Air For the G String

Although this Bach classic was published nearly 100 years before the Regency period, it was quite popular during the period itself.  That means it could actually be the best song out of this entire list for your Bridgerton-themed wedding !

Ave Maria

Since Schubert’s “Ave Maria” was composed in 1825, it technically falls outside of the Regency era that Bridgerton encapsulates, but it’s still close enough to be a wonderful selection.  Plus, your guests’ familiarity with this one will increase your themed wedding’s overall charm.

Eine Kleine Nachtmusik

This popular Mozart tune is another timeless classic that falls right outside of the Regency era—but would still make a great addition to your wedding day’s soundtrack.
