Steve was great! He was very professional and we enjoyed working with him right from the beginning. We weren’t planning on hiring a violinist but we ran into him at a wedding event and booked him right on the spot. He called a few days before the wedding to go over all of our song choices which I really appreciated because I felt like he was one less thing to worry about. A lot of my guests approached me about how impressed and awesome they thought he was. If you want beautiful music with a very professional musician, book Steve. You can’t go wrong!

- Yes, dance music requests are welcome. We want the music to be a reflection of your tastes but like to have some flexibility to drop in songs we think will work.
- A DO NOT PLAY section on my Planning Sheet for the music you don’t want to hear.
- DJ Lights – if you want them. A small set of flashing, spinning lights add some color and splash to the night. No extra charge.
- Yes, we do ceremonies, too.
- Wireless sound system for the Violin (is available) so everyone can hear the music around the room.
- We don’t dress up like Elvis, roll around on the floor during “Shout”, swing from the chandelier, or lead the “Macarena” while dancing shirtless on the tables. Formalwear or suit is standard attire.
- Our job is to keep the focus on you and get the dance floor jumping until you yell “Stop”.
We had DJ Mike Russell for our wedding reception and he was great! He listened to everything we wanted and even made a few last minute changes the day of the reception without any problems at all! Booking through Steven Vance Entertainment was a breeze—very professional and timely! They also helped us find an acoustic guitarist for our cocktail hour and he was phenomenal! We would definitely recommend Steven Vance Entertainment!!

We had Steven for our ceremony and reception. He was great to work with and was flexible with our unconventional reception and our requests. We all enjoyed his playing and the guest really enjoyed requesting music as he strolled to each table. Highly recommend!
