THE LEADER IN OUR FIELD
Strings are our specialty and we do more of this than anyone else. Our ensembles have performed for over 1,000 Wedding Ceremonies, Receptions and Corporate and Special Events in the Tri-state area. For the past 20 years we have provided professional, personable, and prepared musicians and ensembles so we have been doing it longer than anyone else. You only get one chance to do this right.
"I will never forget walking down the aisle to the most beautiful melody that is "I've Dreamed of You." You really touched my heart"
Rachel & Brian
In 2016, we were voted “Best of Weddings” by The Knot for the 6th year and we are in their Hall Of Fame. Plus, for the 5th year in a row we earned the "Couple’s Choice Award" from Wedding Wire. You can see over 300 total reviews on those sites but the best awards come from the notes our couples and clients.
"It was delightful! You are a professional team and I knew I would not have to worry about a thing".

A WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE
We offer only professional performers - no students or amateurs – so you can be comfortable knowing you are in good hands. These musicians have worked together for many years and worked individually with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Benedum Opera and Ballet Orchestras, the Mendelssohn Choir Orchestra, Disney On Ice, Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra (accompanying stars such as Luciano Pavarotti and Tony Bennett) and more. These groups are by far the most experienced and busiest performing ensembles in the area.

The Recessional - when the two of you march back up the aisle and off into the sunset.
One or Two Postlude pieces as the guests leave to move on to the Reception.
This package also includes advance consultation with the Group Leader/Performer to discuss music and go over other details.

FLEXIBLE PRICING - PREMIUM OR AAA
We offer a two-tier pricing system to help you stick to your budget. Our “Premium" groups bring a wealth of experience and repertoire and are the groups we have worked with the longest. These are the "brand name" groups (Crystal, Sapphire, Cameron, etc ... ) you see on the site with photos, sound clips, and video . The "AAA" groups are very fine young players who are experienced and trained by us to meet our standards of performance and professionalsim but are willing to work for a little less to build up their reputations. These are not students nor amateurs. However, since we don't put extra money into promoting them by name, shooting video, etc … we are able to offer a price that makes them an excellent value. Final pricing depends on which AAA ensemble is available.
"Your musicians were talented, professional and easy to work with (as usual)!"

"I just had a phone meeting with Jennifer to discuss the music for my schedule, and I wanted to tell you that I am already completely THRILLED with her! She was extremely helpful in choosing music, even played a few pieces over the phone for me, and she was just overall a joy to speak to. Thank you for choosing the Faure Trio to play at my wedding; I couldn't be more excited to have them play at my ceremony!"

WHAT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SAYING
"Steven, the music was superb, starting with the string quartet at the church, the strolling violinist, and the music selection during the reception. Your ability as a MC and keeping everything on track was truly appreciated. As parents, it gave us great joy to provide Morgan and Brian the wedding of their dreams; we want to thank all of you for making it possible."
Parents of the Groom
"As always, it was a pleasure working with you last Saturday. Jeanie and I have been recommending you and your groups since the first time we worked with one of your Quartets in 2007. When we hear that a couple has chosen one of your soloists or groups we are always quick to assure them what a great choice they have made. Among others, Sarah Breckenridge, Sergio Flores and the appropriately-named Crystal Strings have been exceptional. We will continue to put out the good word for all of your services without pause"
Reverend Mark & Jeanie
"I just wanted to thank Steven, you, and your company so much for the Haute String Quartet! They played at our July 3rd wedding in Indiana, PA. They were amazing! We received so many compliments."
"Thank you so much for making Claire and Wes's wedding so special with your musical delivery. We really enjoyed it and Steve and I especially enjoyed the last 30 minutes where we relaxed with Margie, Rodney and close family/friends listening to the sounds and period pieces you played. It was delightful! You are a professional team and I knew I would not have to worry about a thing. Thank you for being part of our big day and making a lifetime memory for all of us."
Rosalie & Stephen Carpenter Parents of the Bride
"Younga, your quartet is fantastic!!! The timing for the video and the musical selection was perfect. You are truly a professional presence and all of our guests were so appreciative of your talents. Thank you so much for adjusting to our crazy demands. I hope our program didn’t cause you to miss another appointment.
Steven: thank you so much for arranging the quartet for last night. Our donors were treated to beautiful music performed by amazing artists. I am in your debt."
Eileen Twigger The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh
"Yes, the music was good!! Janice Vairo, Sacred Heart’s “Coordinator”, pronounced it “the best”. Other comments were similar. Between the strains of Air on a G String when I walked in, and the sunshine, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the setting (still am at it’s memory). Then there was the famous long aisle accentuated by the young ladies’ endearingly glacial pace - thank God for canons, huh. Thanks for your big part in the, indeed, lovely ceremony!"
Stephen Baker Father of the Bride
"I can’t thank you enough for making my Wedding Day extra special with beautiful music. You were a pleasure to work with and you made our conversations come to life. The guests were amazed by the sound. You were awesome. Countless thanks."
"Just wanted to let you know that Ellie and her group were great! Thanks for all of your help and professionalism. Everything went perfectly!"
Jonathan and Rosalie Butler
"I just wanted to tell you that I got a chance to watch our wedding video and I absolutely loved the music at our wedding. The whole day went so fast and I didn't get a chance to enjoy the prelude music before the ceremony but I was so thankful to have the video to watch. You are all such talented musicians and you played everything exactly as a imagined it. As a musician myself, I can be picky and critical of music in general. But, you and your crew completely surpassed and soared above my expectations, which were already pretty high based on your reputation. You are truly professional and gifted musicians. I wish I would have had a chance to thank you personally for the breathtaking music you played at our wedding, but as i said earlier, the day was just so busy and I didn't get a chance. I've dreamed of having a string trio play at my wedding since I was old enough to dream it up. Thank you for making my dream a reality. If there is any other way I can sing your praises, please let me know. I'd be happy to post my comments on the Steven Vance website or to refer you personally. Again, thank you so much. Much thanks and admiration"
"Thank you so much for providing the most beautiful music for our wedding September 26, 2009. I can't say enough about Steve Ehrlich's String Trio. Their performance was deeply moving and more than I could have hoped for. It was an absolute joy working with Ellie Cameron to plan our day. What a sweet woman! Thank you again for the time and effort of all those who made our wedding unforgettable!"
Kate & Nick Grabski

"We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed having Maureen be a part of our wedding at Phipps Conservatory. Her music added a special touch to our ceremony. Thanks for helping to make our Wedding Day perfect."
Kara and Chris Sebest
"I wanted to take a moment and say thank you for meeting us in person Saturday. We were both nervous about music, as neither of us are well versed in violin or wedding music. We felt a load lifted from our shoulders after we met. We really appreciated the time you took to go over the information and explain some different ideas. That type of customer service is something we feel is very meaningful to us and take to heart. That personal connection is key and we got that feeling with you. We are very excited to be working with you for our wedding August 12. We know your services is going to create an atmosphere our guests will remember which is exactly what we were hoping for."
